Greetings all. I just finished the Wiring Fundamentals course and am now working on the Practical Wiring - Club Level course. I have been working on cars, trucks, military equipment, etc since the mid-1990s. I’ve gone through various phases of what type of vehicles I’ve owned, and currently my passion lies with BMWs. I had big plans for a 2009 335i E93 (3-series hardtop convertible with the N54 straight-six twin turbo engine), but unfortunately it was totaled after a hit-and-run accident. I’ve moved up in size, and now have a 2017 X5 sDrive35i F15 (RWD with the N55 straight-six single turbo). Currently my plans for the X5 are focused on adding factory upgrade options my vehicle didn’t come with as opposed to pure performance, but more power and all that comes with it will be coming along the way. My mid- to long-term goal is to undertake the high-end build of a classic BMW with custom built drivetrain, electronics, etc…something that will be a show stopper with all the comforts of a newer BMW for the street, but able to hold its own on the track as well, yet still be 100% BMW based.
