I am Ben from the uk.

I have been making my way through the engine tuning courses introduction, EFI, AFR and currently doing the reflash and standalone todo.

I have mechanical knowledge as previously working in the heavy vehicle industry.

I want to try and start doing some practice side of this and see if I can get my head around it all a bit more.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to maybe some ways I can do this? Weather it be a virtual/simulator?

Or happy to trial some stuff on my vehicles if at all possible (safely of course)

I currently own a 1.6tdi caddy van which has a few mods and already has a map on as far as im aware but would be happy to have a play around with that if I can on a separate file or whatever if possible, or maybe carry out some data logging to start and go from there!?

I also have another project which is a full conversion to a 2.0tfsi engine and the end goal would be to put some form or a tune on that eventually if possible.

Anyone have any advice or next steps I could do?

Have you done the diesel courses? The basic one is free! Is it just engine or also interested in brakes and suspension?

Ah I will have a look at that but more was asking to do with the practical side, just to give something a go more so.
