Hello everyone .... I am from Preston Lancashire in the UK and am a retired Aircraft Structures Engineer. I have been racing here in the UK in my Lotus Esprit Silhouette for over 25 years.
The car is a spaceframe based car, carbon/fibreglass bodywork, Lola Indycar suspension (incl Wheels/brakes), a 5500cc Chevy LS6 from out of a Daytona Prototype (or recently my spare 5000cc LS6) and a Hewland DG300 transaxle. Engine is fitted with a Kinsler IR Manifold and I am currently using A DTA Fast S80 pro ECU. ..... but am looking to update at some point.
I have recently built my new car having designed and build the majority of it myself. I have been running the car for the last 2 seasons and am still developing it to get the most out of it. (it did go pretty well straight out of the box ! but you know when there is more to be had !!)
I think HPA looks a great place to gain knowledge and hopefully help me improve things further.
