Dave here, i'm a mechanic of 30 years experience, 20 of them running my own workshop! I have recently joined via the VIP package, as there's always learning to be done, and skills expanded etc. I have fitted many aftermarket ecu's over the years but have a knowledge gap around some of the later systems, I have a street/drag turbo 4ZD1 Isuzu powered Gemini coupe currently running a Haltech E8 that I am updating to a Link G4X fury with DBW, flex fuel and a slew of other sensors so I can data log and setup traction control etc. I see the courses being invaluable. Also updating my knowledge on wiring, and I have an underutilised TIG welder that I need help getting the most out of.
I have a few other cars too, a Gemini ZZ touring car (NA dohc Isuzu G180W), Mitsubishi Starion project with a dohc 4G64T, and my tow vehicle is a lightly modded 6 litre Crewman SS. Oh and a couple of dailies which i'm trying not to mod too much!
