Hi, my name is Jacob and I am a master technician and novice racecar builder and racer.
Due to the fact that I work on them every day and thus have extensive knowledge on them and the vehicle was practically free I am building a EK chassis Civic for the NASA Honda Challenge series, but will most likely just be used for autocross and NASA/SCCA general racing. I have a long history of building harnesses for road applications and some minor non-competitive racing vehicles but am a complete novice regarding everything else when it comes to building a racecar.
I am forcing myself to do everything on this vehicle so that I can learn. I am building the engine myself, doing all the engine tuning, and also will be eventually building my own rollcage for the vehicle.
Many years of bolt on builds and general repair has lead me to attempting to further my education so that I can be more proficient and maybe one day I can move out of the world of repair and into performance.
