Hey all,
I joined HP Academy so I could learn to tune my VW Golf. It is about to be fitted with a sport cam plus HD springs and related parts like new timing and water pump. The car has some other basic mods to intake and exhaust.
Currently running the factory fitted Bosch M5.9.2 and I'm here to learn about the flashing possibilities of this ECU. If I can make some improvement to the power at wide open throttle with the factory ecu then I'd be very pleased.
The Utimate aim for the Golf is to eventually swap in the haltech 1500 and do more work to the engine to handle some boost. But that is a long way off and subject to testing and refining the car all round over time.
