Hi
i try to understand the value used in the driver demand table on a 2017 2.8 Duramax Canyon , the driver demand table did not seems to represent direct torque value as the the 100% pedal position have a 149.2 value all the way on a 370lbf/ft torque engine , other fuel table have torque listed clearly . I used Hptuner
Nick have great experience tuning theses engines so maybe it can help to understand what value are represented in theses tables
thanks
The values in the driver demand table are in units of power, not torque. 149.2kw translates to a variety of torque numbers depending on engine RPM. These can be calculated if you have a specific engine RPM in mind. The factory uses this method to attempt to give a clean/predictable power output.
Nick
Thanks for the clarification , KW was the unit that i've not anticipated for this table but it make sense now and this information will be helpful thanks and have a great day !
