I can't comment, but for those who have the knowledge to do so, including the specific vehicle details - make, model, year, transmission, etc - would allow them to make a more informed comment.
To add onto Gord's suggestion, also include the the brand/model of the "onboard tuner" you're referring to.
Many diesel tuning platforms allow .bin import. You may have to adjust format slightly depending on vehicle make model year and flashing tool protocol.
