I am working on a LML with a larger turbine Stealth Hybrid Turbo. I am having an issue with the vanes opening up during the transition from open to closed loop. I have had the best luck with keeping the truck in Closed Loop all the time. With Airflow changes in the tune the turbocharger/vane position is very responsive as long as it stays in Closed Loop. The only big issue is at idle sometimes the vanes will open all the way up randomly.
The best compromise I have found is going to closed loop at 1000 RPM. During takeoff the vanes still open slightly. I have tried changing vane position settings to help smooth out the transition. It does not seem to help. Any suggestions?
