what is your opinion on tuning tools offered by the likes of magic motor sport ( flex,x17 etc) dimsport ( new trasdata , new genius ) autotuner , kess and Ktag with respect to other tools and softwares such as hp tuners
HPT and EFILive have what I would call the highest level of support: Read/Flash, Edit, and datalog with high quality parameters descriptions. The dimsport and alientech etc. support a much wider range of vehicles with more of what I would call a medium level of support. I've not used Magic motorsport so I can't speak to their level of support.
If the vehicle is supported by HPT or other 'master level' tuning tool then I would start there. If you plan to only edit in WinOLS and simply need a flashing tool with wide scope then shop the others.
Really it comes down to your needs and vehicles of interest,
