Hi there, do you have any preferences for an 'Audio Knock Detection System" ? And where to purchase from ?
Personally I use two systems - The Plex knock Monitor and the Link G4+ Knock Block. The Plex unit has more functionality and is more complex however it also costs a lot more. The Link G4+ unit is basic and simple yet incredibly effective. Either will do an excellent job and it really comes down to how much you're prepared to spend. You can buy the Plex unit direct from Plex and I believe they offer a discount to HPA members. The Link product can be purchased from any of their dealers and there's a dealer list on their website.
Do you you know if any of these would fit on my Power FC Datalogit Interface? If not, what are my choices for an audio knock detection equipment when tuning with this standalone ecu? Would an electronic stethoscope (chasis ears) work for knock detection?
