Anyone out there have any experience with flashing Mercedes benz ecu? Preferably w211 e55 amg from memory its the bosch me2.8 ecu . . . whats the best hardware and software to use?.
I use the Race Full software and hardware suite from DIMSPORT. It's a rather pricey setup, but it does give me access to A LOT of cars and does make the tuning process easier as you aren't necessarily required to identify maps.
I had a look to see if it supports the W211 E55 AMG but couldn't find it on the list...however, from what I can tell, the G Class (W461/462/463) seems to have the same motor and ECU in the G55 AMG, so you could most likely use the same protocol for the W211 E55 AMG
