Hi! I was reading a Fiat IAW 4AFB.BU ECU with an ST10F269 microcontroller. According to the datasheet, that microcontroller has 256K of flash memory. However, when using Galletto 4 and selecting IAW 4AF…, it says that for “read/write” it has 320K, and the final file is exactly that size. Does anyone know why this happens?

I found the answer: the 'usable' memory of the microcontroller is 256K, but according to the datasheet the total of all blocks is 320K. So the device extracts the entire memory, not just the usable flash memory.
