Is the tactrix tuning interface any good?. Have used one but it seems to have a lot of interface problems and complicated ECU definitions.
I really like mine for my wrx. But it’s got nothing on my haltech.
The tactrix cable is only an interface and hence it's only as good as the software and definitions you use. I use it with Mitsubishi and Subaru with ECUflash and ECU Edit and it's excellent. If you don't have a definition though things are going to be pretty tough.
Im not 100% sure what the definitions are for. My understanding is they give the software all the relevant ECU tables in the left hand column so you can pull out sections and adjust what is required . Is that correct?.
