Hi.
I have a Subaru 6speed with built in speed sensor.
Its a 3 wire with +,- and signal.
Stock subaru map doesnt seem to have a input for the tranny speed sensor, just wheel speeds off the abs sensors.
Manual says that "5 and 0 are repeatedly displayed when vehicle is driven"
My assumption is this should go to a digital input.
There is no speed sensor for DI. Do I use one of the wheel speed inputs, even though its not wheel driven ?

Yes, that will be a digital frequency signal. You'll need to make sure the digital input you wire it to has a pull-up enabled.

We typically set the DI function to LF Wheel in this situation as it is more useful than the "GP Speed" option.
Just an update..
I've assigned the wheel sensor but used the tranny speed sensor.
Subaru does have a wheel speed sensor on each wheel as well.
Speedo out now works.
