Thinking about picking this EFI tuning package.
But even though it says its for the old G4+ the way you do most or all of the things are still the same.
Or would some of it be obsolete when using the newer G4X ECUs?
Having both a G4+ and a G4X, 99% of the fundamentals are the same.
They've tweaked the application layout slightly - in G4+ the inputs/output pins were grouped by type, then you choose the function. In G4X, you choose the function and then assign the input/output pin.
There's some small differences in some of the functions and how they're configured, but the Help file within the PC Link application is one of the best I've ever used in any software in 25+ years. And, there's nothing stopping you having both G4+ and G4X applications installed and open simultaneously to compare between the two, including the Help files.
