Hi all,
I'm currently tuning our shop's highly modified 2012 STI (Precision 6766, fully built sleeved closed deck EJ25 shortblock, Brian Crower 272 cams, GSC valve train, DW 2200cc injectors, methanol injection) with COBB Accesstuner Pro and am having issues raising the rev limiter.
I've brought the factory limiter up to 8000rpm, scaled every timing/AVCS/fuel table axis to 8000rpm, and removed all other limits I could find, yet the car will not rev past 7400-7500. It does not hit hard fuel cut, nor does it start to break up, it simply refuses to rev further.
It should also be noted that the car pulls extremely hard with 0 breakup or knock at 30psi all the way up to 7400ish, thus leading me to think I've simply missed something in the tune.
Any help is appreciated, we're looking to run the car at the drags this weekend and would love to have the extra RPM!

Check your throttle target tables. Check your requested torque tables. You'll find that the torque request which affects the dbw throttle opening is reduced around 7200 rpm (from memory) in a stock calibration. Max this out and you should be good to go.

I just made these changes and went out for some pulls; the car is now revving out to 8000 perfectly and pulling extremely well.
