Anyone have some good suggestions for placement of audio knock detection placement? I’m running 2 upgraded Bosch sensors in factory location and wanted to see where people were placing a 3rd sensor to listen audibly for knock?
Car is single turbo now if that helps.
I usually stack the knock sensor for the knock ears on the to ECU knock sensor, this means that I am hearing the same noise that the knock sensor is reading.
The knock sensor is quite buried under the intake manifold and I’m looking for a quick spot to use the audio knock detection sensor. Other than doubling it up under the manifold…
I don’t know that I would have enough stud left to double up anyways.
