Hi there I am new to tuning and I just ordered a Link g4+ plug & play ecu for my 350z. My problem is my car got factory wideband lambdas but the Link ecu won’t read them. What options do I have ? If I tune the car with an lm2 on open loop can I remove the lm2 from the car or do I need to permanent install two new wideband sensors with controllers?
If you complete your tuning with the LM2, and you don't want to run the fueling in closed loop at all, yes, you can remove the LM2 afterwards, and just accept you'll have no lambda feedback to your ECU.
If you do want to run closed loop, you could either install two wideband controllers to interface the wideband sensors to the ECU, which would be the optimal solution, or you could install two narrowband sensors which the ECU could read directly. You should be able to re-use most of the original wiring for either of these options.
