Hello,
I have a DynoJet 250i and tuning a Yamaha MT09.
Some questions:
-I'm still unsure if the DynoJet 250i unit is a load-bearing dyno or not. The brake percentage can be adjusted on the drum... yet is this the load-bearing functionality desired?
-How can I go about acquiring the MBT (Maximum Brake Torque) for the bike on this dyno? If it's not a load-bearing dyno, then I can't hold a steady rpm?
-Knock sensors: any help on which knock sensor monitor I can buy? The Yamaha MT09 doesn't have a knock sensor, so it would be an external. I checked two options, and they are both discontinued (awaiting new models from those companies). They are the TunerNerd Knock Monitor and the Plex Knock Monitor v2. Any other suggestions from the industry? Or good product?
-When making a dyno run on this bike: which gear? I was under the impression that we wanted a ratio of 1:1 in the transmission, which would make this bike do a 6th gear run. Yet do I have to calculate the chain sprockets driving the rear wheel?
