have a link ecu extreme and an aem xseries wideband do not have the canf plug but would like to wire in to can h and can l
could anyone assist in the setup, do i just need to just connect the wires or i need some kind of hub

Correct, you dont need a hub, just connect CAN H & L (AEM call it AEMnet + & -). You will want to include a termination resistor at the AEM end of the CAN bus somewhere (ECU has one built in for one end).
