Hello,

For those who live in high-temperature regions, humidity is a significant factor that varies from season to season.

in this case, would the addition of humidity sensors be justified? Or would it just add unnecessary complexity to the system?

My usual practice is that I would add 1-3 degrees when humidity levels are high to counteract the relatively slower combustion process. And MoTec's closed-loop fueling system would take care of the effect humidity has on engine VE.

While I'm not sure of a way to physically change VE based on sensors input (besides ambient pressure) in MoTeC platforms, the question is whether the humidity sensor is too much of an addition or is it justified?

I once lost race because of significantly changed humidity but I never thought about installing additional sensor because in my area it doesn't happen too often. On top of that first two pulls during qualifying rounds are usually enough for me to adjust AF mixture based on logs...

that for me would probably make it a must install haha
