I've been working on a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 4.8l It is a LS1b pcm. I am tuning with Efi Live and it recognizes the pcm type but fails to unlock it to read the calibrations. I tried using the alternate unlock keys and still won't read the calibrations. I was able to retrieve the DTCs on the engine and it throws a B1000 ecm malfunction code. I'm wondering if I'm missing something or if maybe there is a problem with the pcm. Any kind of advice would be appreciated.
I don't personally use EFI Live so I can't advise from my experience. It might be something that you will need to query directly with EFI Live to get an accurate answer if nobody else on here can help.
