hello guys,
can someone give us a brief explaination about the coils duty cycle and by monitering it how can we improve our coil system or how can i know when my coils are giving enough power for the required car application or not

has some good information. on coils and how to test/calibrate them.
i've got a setup on the bench for test like this, to wary the voltage and dwell. basicly i'm tricking a ecu into thinking it's running an engine and using a potmeter to change the dwell on the diffrente voltages. the coil usualy demand a good power supply and i use capacitors in addition. (the car battery wil handle the amp draw but not all bench top power supplies are fast enough)
