hello guys,
i was tuning my drag car today which runs without intercooler on pure m1 methanol, i have my air temp sensor on my charge pipe directly before the throttle, on 2.5 bar of boost i am seeing air temp of 105 degree Celsius, i want to know if thats normal or this could have a effect on the engine i am running lambda 0.75 and 19 degrees of timing on that boost
105c is pretty good for no intercooler at 2.5 bar. I would say if anything it’s on the low-end. You are running methanol so your cylinder temperature are probably very low. It may be time to turn up the boost and start testing the efficiency of that turbo LOL
