HEY ANDRE

I HAVE A CAR CAME TO MY SHOP IS HONDA B16A ENGINE WITH HALTECH PS100 WITH PLUG N PLAY PATCH LOOM HARNESS.

THIS ENGINE IS USING TODA RACING ITB. MY QUESTION,IS IF I WANT TO TUNED THIS ENGINE VIA TPS DO I NEED SET FUEL

LOAD SOURCE AND INGNITION LOAD SOURCE TO TPS BUT DO I NEED TO USE ANY LOAD SENSING METHOD FITTING TO ECU

OR NOT AND WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT MAP SENSOR AND BAROMETRIC PRESSURE SENSOR WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCE

BETWEEN EACH ONE.

THANK YOU.

To use TPS as the load input you need to select it as the load source for both the fuel and ignition. If you're using injection time as your tuning method, then you don't strictly need a map sensor fitted to the engine at all. If you use VE tuning mode then you will still need a MAP sensor attached and then the ECU will account for manifold pressure.

I haven't done a TPS tune on a Haltech but if you have very wild cams then often incorporating MAP into the fuel equation can result in erratic mixtures, particularly at idle. Barometric pressure is a measure of atmospheric pressure and is separate to MAP (although some ECUs will sample the MAP sensor prior to startup and lock this in as the baro pressure).
