Hey guys, I have a 2004 msm Miata with haltech elite 1500 plug and play and I’m getting the ignition light on the cluster coming on and off randomly kinda but a contstant on for 2-3 sec than off for 4-5 ish sec steady whole time while driving.. any ideas to why ?
What did Haltech suggest?
Are you using the stock instrument cluster?
If it was intermittent I'd be suspecting an alternator fault with an intermittent open circuit, but no real suggestions if it's regular.
Stock instrument cluster , new alternator voltage seems to be pretty steady . Also new battery , I don’t have any Ill affects from it and don’t see any load changes when it comes on or off. Just wondering why it’s does that and what can resolve it.
