Just brought a LM2 and was hoping it work be a good data logger for me to log with the OBD2 cable, problem I have is not many of the channels that I can read with a cheap phone app like EGT etc do not show up on the LM2 and be logged.
Is the Innovate LM2 very limited in this way or am I missing something.
Also when I am using the unit the data displayed on the screen keeps dropping off and zeroing for a second at random times.

I've never bothered using the LM2 for data logging purely since I've always been using it in conjunction with another logger package anyway. My brief experience echoed yours that the available channels are very limited.
