Hi, i have a questions for knock setup.
I've been looking everywhere for days for an optimal way to set up my knock sensors on my M54B30.
From what I know the knock sensors work with a frequency, which is calculated with 1800/(Pi*Dcyl). For my engine is 6,8 kHz. However, I have seen that this calculation is not entirely accurate and that it should be varied according to the need. (some sensors use twice the actually calculated frequency??)
my main questions is: what is the right way to configure the knock sensors on ecumaster? how to find the right frequency? how to set the right value for knock detection?
I state that I have a TunerNerd knock monitoring to check if the engine is actually knocking.
