What do experienced tuners charge? By the hour? If so how much on average?
If they tune a vehicle do they have a set rate per vehicle or hourly?
Obviously having a dyno would affect these rates so please give me an idea of rates with or without a dyno.

I know of some specialists who want over $1000USD/day
Then there are the slave tuning wannabes who'll 'remap' your car for $100USD
Dyno time is about £120GBP/hour retail here in the UK. You can hire a dyno 'trade' as a tuner for about £500-600/day.
Labour rates for tuning varies as does the length of time taken by different people to complete the job but typically a 'tune' will cost in the region of £300-£500GBP
