Hello everyone,so apparently using an adaptronic e420d ecu on a turbocharged 1NZ engine ,broke the engine while we were trying to figure out the rpm of launch .Is this possible to happen ? Or we should start looking elsewhere?
Unless there was an actual hardware failure inside the ECU, I don't think you could pinpoint it as the cause of an engine failure. Does the ECU still function, or are there any logs from the event?
It could be a tuning issue, or just stress placed on the engine from repeated launch attempts.
