Hi , I want to set the rev limit to be very smoth and safe for a drift car .
This sort of effect is usually achieved by using an ignition cut rev limiter. in the G4+ you can select advanced mode and this allows the individual parameters of the rev limit to be adjusted. In particular the sound and harshness of the cut can be affected by altering the limit control range. If you are going to use an ignition cut though you do need to be aware that this can potentially be dangerous with some valve train designs - Nissan's SR20 for example has a very fragile rocker design that can end up being damaged with an aggressive ignition cut limiter.
