Hi guys

looking for some help.

I am about to wire in my ecu . I would also like to utilise my LM1 in the process. What is the best way to connect the 2 together?

It's been a while since I used an LM1, however from memory there is an analogue output port on the LM1 that provides two configurable analogue voltage outputs that can then be connected to the ECU and calibrated.

If you don't have the cable already then you may need to purchase one. I would wire up a connector for your ECU so that you can easily plug the LM1 in to the ECU. Be a little careful and ensure that you connect a sensor ground from the ECU to the LM1 output too or you may have trouble with the accuracy. On that note I always found the LM1 read a little on the rich side compared to my Motec PLM and also the Innovate LM2. From memory it reads around 0.02 lambda rich.

Thanks andre

Its old hat but the saying if it aint broke is playing here so ill use it in the short term. Ill look into getting the aux cable.

on another note have you ever seen a G4+ Extreme TPS readings go up 33% 66% etc as mine appears to do this

It sounds like your TPS isn't smoothly spanning in voltage? Set it up as a 0-5 volt input instead of TPS and watch in the runtime values screen (press F12 and then cycle to the analogue tab) to ensure the voltage spans smoothly as you move the TPS.

Found the issue was voltage and the factory harness. Issue is now resolved. One of many thats reared its head since starting to wire in the link
