Hi guys
Im new to all this and finding it very interesting,
Ive done the EFI and AFR modules and halfway through the standalone one at the moment
Is there a way to access an ecu that is locked out by the manufacturer
i have a stock Mk2.5 1.8L MX5 (miata)
i have a plug and play ecu and use tuner studio but would be keen on unlocking the OEM ecu

Nope. You have to get either a piggyback ECU like E Manage Blue or something similar or a standalone ECU.
Miata owner my self. Have tried both paths.
