i am working on a new engine 5.2L inline 6 cylinders na engine which i will run on pure m5 methanol, what Plug heat range should i use and what are the range on egt’s that i should be on. My guess the car will make around 450 up to 550whp
Hello this sounds like a great build, to get a baseline and plug reading for heat range not knowing much info about what you are using it for a rev range, I'm taking a guess that 450-550hp you will be pulling 8000-8500 rpm I would be using an ngk9 heat range or 3 champion for starters the egt I would expect 600c with aa cast iron head and 650c with an alloy head,
