Hi guys, building an s54 turbo engine at the moment. I was wondering if anyone could advise me on a suitable fuel pump? The engine will be running on ethanol and hoping for 1000-1200hp. I have seen some weldon and magnafuel pumps that look promising but i would like to hear from someone with experience. Plan on running an10 fuel lines.
I've used both weldon and magnafuel with good results. Pumps capable of supporting that kind of fuel flow generally are quite noisy but I'm assuming that if you're aiming for 1200 hp you're not too worried about that? The other option is to run two smaller pumps in parallel and use a 'y' joiner into your single -10 fuel line.
