I recently had to replace my ECU, a Bosch ME2.1. The replacement is a direct interchange, but with a different hardware and software revision. I had done some tuning to the original ECU so the first thing I did upon replacing it was to pull a virgin BIN file.
For the most part, the MAPs line up, with one exception; ignition timing. The original ignition MAP looks like this:
When I go to the approximate location in the replacement ECU, I find this:
Has anyone ran into this? What the is going on here?
I have tried searching for the original patter in the replacement ECU but have come up empty.
Any input would be appreciated.
