Gday, I have an LS1 that have taken out of a 2004 Caprice and it is going into my Chevy Luv ute.
I am going to reflash the original ECU and using all stock harness etc. Planning to use my tuning knowledge that I am slowly gaining through these courses to just be able to look at how this engine operates and understand it better. The project is never going to be a drag car or aim for max power just a good daily cruiser etc.
Just wondering what software people would recommend to reflash and be able to make see and make adjustments to stock settings?
Also what hardware to read the engine?

I've been happy using HPTuners with their MPVI2+ interface on early 2000's LS1.
