I've been fighting an issue while trying to tune my buddies 2008 Silveraldo with a built 5.3l I just finished and for some reason most of the time the map sensor keeps dropping off the scanner like it's not even on the truck. So far I've tried every setting can find in the vcm software, de-pinned the connector and replaced the old pins with new ones, electrically tested and ohm'd all 3 wires and also replaced the map sensor with a new standard products map sensor from Oriellys and have no idea what to check next. Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of the problem? I'm not getting any trouble codes from the oe computer either.
