I am looking for people who have experience with running with a waste gate, that has been mounted like in the picture.
Did it control boost ok?
Must be twin scroll set up.
I can't decide whether to have 2 separate waste gates or just one.
My under standing of waste gate placement is to give the waste the path of lease resistance which allows good boost control.

i have fabricated a split gate like that on my twin scroll header (not the turbine housing) and it works great, the trick is to tighten the clearances on the divider to maintain the point of having twin scroll. there is also a lot of conventional wisdom on external wastegate design to read up on to do with entry angles and sizing
