So say I’m going to tune a car that has a narrowband o2 sensor. I install my wideband and make my changes to the maps. When I’m done with the tune and have saved all my changes. I then reinstall the narrowband. Should I then set it to closed loop operation? Sorry for the newb questions.
Depends on the ECU and how you're setting up O2 feedback. If you're actually trying to do a highway stoich burn I'd run closed loop, otherwise open loop. At least to me.
