I am currently building a 2jz engine
for around 500 horsepower at the wheel
I took the crank to the machine shop to remove 0.25 mm
and ACL oversized bearings 0.25
Improved oil pump from driftmotion and 10w60 oil
The oil clearance
that was checked in the main bearings is between 0.065-0.075 mm to me it seems far beyond acceptable especially since according to the manufacturer's instructions between 0.30-0.40 mm
but this is 5w30 oil
Is this crank invalid or can I use it and the clearance is in the desired range
