My girl had a spun bearing on her Genesis Coupe 2.0T and I was successfully able to rebuild the entire engine and upgrade it for power and reliability.
I had to send the crank off to get repaired, as the bearing melted to it. I also sent off the heads and block to get bored, honed, and leveled. I used .010 Wisco Pistons, K1 Rods, The stock forged Crank, ARP head and main studs, A new Clutch and slave cylinder, and upgraded the turbo and BOV.
The end result was 315WHP, about Double the stock numbers. It's Pretty Nasty for a daily driver and she couldn't be happier. I'm attaching some photos.
That would definitely get along well for a daily. Do they come with a LSD standard?
