hello, im currently setting my piston end gaps.
im using a manual piston grinder and rotate it anti clockwise as i should and the top of the ring facing me.
i noticed that the piston ring end (touching the cylinder wall) is narrower than the one touching the piston. is there way that i can fix this to make them parallel? i dont have access to automatic piston ring filer?

The easiest way is to hold the ring in the grinder on the angle you need to true it up
take it slowly a little at a time
