Hey all,
I'm working on the wife's car this week and she had a RB25 DE block with Neo head, and previous owner put the most garbage turbo you can find on Alibaba on the car. We're upgrading to a Garrett 3076, along with a ton of other work I'm knocking out this week on it.
My main question is the old turbo was oil only, this is oil and coolant. I've been searching the Internet for days trying to find suggestions on where to get the feed from and where to put the return. Hoping I may be able to find some advice, please let me know.
Worth noting, it seems the ports on the RB25det don't exist on the DE.
I did figure out the solution to this, so posting in case it'll help anyone in the future.
The consensus solution i found is reroute the lines that were going to the throttle body and just use those for turbo coolant.
