First post, my OCD is getting the better of me with my engine build and i am a little uncertain on if i should open up the clearances a little more. Rb26 align bored with nitto billet 2.8 crank. Using mixed pairs H and HX i am anywere from 0.06-0.07mm (0023”-.0027”) if i go all HX’s on some caps i end up just over 3thou. I have heard of people using on some journal all Hx and then on adjacent journal a mixed pair but i dont feel good about that i would rather go all mixed or all same grade.
