Hi everyone, i recently finished a car build and had it professionally tuned but i still feel like the car shouldn t be this laggy with a fairly decent sized turbo. Don t get me wrong the car runs well but i feel like it was faster on stock ecu with just a chip. The ignition map looks quite low for a 6.7 cr yb in my opinion. Now i am no tuner but i was expecting to see a fee more degrees in the offboost section. Does anyone here have experience on yb ?
It depends on how it is all setup, what ECU are you running? Is the base ignition timing set properly? what fuel do you have in it?
If it's 6.7:1 compression ratio and good knock resistant fuel I'd expect a few more degrees in there too
Hey,
i'm not a YB expert, but i calibrated one this year. Unfortunately i don't know what cr it has, but it runs on 102 Octane fuel and had a Borg Warner EFR7064 installed.
When the car arrived in our shop, it had even more timing.
