You can affect the sound and agressiveness of the rev limit by enabling the advanced mode and changing the limit control range. You will also get a more aggressive rev limit by using an ignition cut rather than a fuel cut however it's important to know that this can damage the valve train in some engines so you need approach this with care. A fuel cut is a much safer limit option but usually won't generate the noise you want.
