In the practical standalone tuning course you tuned the nissan 350z fitted with a aem infinity ecu and also with haltech elite series ecu but the ignition timing on 100kpa load and high rpm where almost 10 degree different between the aem and elite ecu . Was there any mechanical changes done to engine or was it because of vvt,if not why was there change in the timing with the same engine...

In all honesty I have no idea as those worked examples were filmed a number of years ago. the car was also in a state of constant mechanical evolution so I wouldn't tend to focus too much on the specific numbers but more on the process which is still 100% relevant.
