How do you lock in on an rpm range and continue to add kpa without going higher in rpm?
A load controlled dyno will have an interface that allows specifying an RPM or MPH limit. It will increase the load to prevent this value from being exceeded, and the dyno operator can increase the throttle above whatever the minimum is for that RPM to reach different cells in the fuel & ignition tables.
On a Dynapack, you use F3 mode.
Which Dyno are you using? On a Mainline Dyno you would use the Tacho Trim feature for this.
